Managing Information and Thinking

(Category: Key Skills Initiatives)
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.” - Aristotle

This initiative aims to encourage learners' curiosity and also gather, record, organise and evaluate information. Think creatively and critically. Reflect on and evaluate their learning. Use digital technology to access, manage and share knowledge.

The initiative could invite students to keep a learning journal or create a blog about themselves and their learning with some prompt questions guided by the teacher. This can help them to identify learning goals, record evidence of success and reflect on their learning needs. There are lots of nice journals available now which can help engage students in the reflection process.
