This intervention was developed by a JCSP co-ordinator. Students are challenged to learn keywords and keyspellings across subject areas over a six week period. Parental involvement is an element of this intervention. Materials are available to support the initiative:
• Keyword notebooks
• Keyword posters
• Keyword folder inserts
• Keyword bookmarks
• Key spelling bookmarks
• An outline of the programme will be provided to participating schools

Instructions

• The funding is available for schools to organise a keywords and key spelling challenge across subject areas over a six-week period.
• The following materials can be ordered by schools: Keyword notebooks; Keyword posters; Keyword folder inserts; Keyword bookmarks and KeySpelling Bookmarks.
• Please enclose in your evaluation a detailed description of the activities undertaken in the running of the initiative along with any relevant photographs of the activities undertaken (no direct student photos please).
• The evaluation should be submitted online at www.jcsp.ie.
