This initiative will provide schools with an opportunity to purchase a digital camera. With this initiative schools can use the students' photographs to generate interest in project work in a Modern Language. It is anticipated that schools will exhibit the students' completed work at Make a Book 2010.

Instructions

• The funding is available for schools to purchase a set of disposable cameras.
• The cost of developing the films is included in the funding.
• The student photos could then generate interest in creative writing and project work in a Modern Language.
• It is anticipated that schools will exhibit the students completed work at Make A Book 2007.
• Please enclose in your evaluation a detailed description of the activities undertaken in the running of the initiative along with any relevant photographs of the activities undertaken. We would be very grateful if the photos are sent to us digitally as the quality is great for publications. Please make sure that you have sought permission from parents/guardians to use the photos in publications. Some schools write to all parents asking them to make contact with the school if they object to photos being published.
