SL0913: Student Motivation - How to develop our students as Effective Learners

- This programme is for teachers who are looking for ways in which their approach to
teaching and learning can have a positive impact on student motivation - Course Aims
- By the end of this modular, teachers will be able to:
• Identify the key factors in student motivation
• Consider strategies to enhance students’ self esteem
• Plan lessons that are stimulating and positive experiences for students and teachers
• Examine ways in which we are teaching for understanding
• Explore the potential of assessment to improve students’ motivation and learning
The sessions will include teachers sharing effective strategies and experiences in motivating students
