SL0823: Using ICT to enhance the teaching and learning of Enterprise
- Target Group
- Teachers of Enterprise who wish to utilise ICT tools in the teaching and learning of Enterprise in the Classroom
- Course Aims
- By the end of this course, participants should be able to:
• Describe how technology can motivate, facilitate and support better learning in the enterprise classroom
• Search for and examine specific educational content on the web which can be used to enhance enterprise learning
• Learn how to evaluate a range of online resources to support the teaching and learning of enterprise
• Gain practical hands - on experience of using a range of interactive ICT tools in the enterprise classroom
• Consider how ICT can assist in providing for individual learning needs within the mixed ability enterprise classroom
• Describe a range of strategies for facilitating individual, pair and groupwork within the ICT room
• Collaborate with teachers and discuss ideas for both introducing and using technology in the enterprise classroom
• Compile a CD ROM which will include a range of activities, resources and presentations for use in the enterprise classroom
• Engage in online networking with other teachers of Enterprise
• Undertake some action research in own work situations, reflect on practice and document the outcomes - Application Closing Date
