LCA Coordinators/Principals

Course Aims
Regional one day workshops for new and existing Leaving Certificate Applied Coordinators postponed in November ‘07 have been rescheduled for February 2008. The focus of these workshops will be on implementation issues particularly review and evaluation.

Opportunities will be provided to explore the key principles of the Leaving Certificate Applied programme and design specific action plans for individual schools and centres taking account of best practice in implementation.

Full day regional workshops have been organised for Leaving Certificate Applied Coordinators. Principals of Leaving Certificate Applied schools/centres will be invited to attend the afternoon sessions which will include discussion on the DES Leaving Certificate Applied evaluation format.
