- Teachers who have some experience of teaching CSPE who are interested in exploring Stewardship and Sustainable Development as governments, societies and individuals try to grapple with the challenges of climate change and other related matters.

- To define stewardship and sustainable development
To find out about the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development and the Year of Planet Earth 2008/2009
To explore and participate in active learning methods suitable for exploring sustainable development
To enable teachers to share their own practice
