Positive Behaviour Managment
- Target Group
- This course is targeted at second level teachers who are interested in exploring a diverse range of teaching methodologies and behaviour management skills to engage the learner.
- Course Aims
- Explore the changing nature of teaching and learning in the 21st century.
• Consider different types of behavioural issues in the classroom.
• Reflect upon alternative methods of Positive Discipline/Classroom Management.
• Develop strategies to manage various levels of disruptive behaviour.
• Explore classroom relationships and how these impact on creating a positve classroom environment.
• Examine how students learn and adapt appropriate teachning strategies to engage the learner.
• Facilitate the sharing of strategies and experiences in the area of classroom management.
